A confession: I live in Austin, Texas, and I am not Welsh. I have, however, studied and spoken Welsh and spent some time in Wales.

This site is a way for me to compartmentalize and combine my love of things old and my love of things Welsh. Most of the images on this site come from the collections of The National Library of Wales (Llyfrgell Genedlaethol Cymru).

This site is for educational purposes and does not, and never will, generate income. I share these images (always with as much source information as possible) with the understanding that doing so is fair use.
